Marabu
Marabu is a world-leading manufacturer of screen, digital, and printing inks based in Germany. Their subsidiary, Marabu North America, faced the challenge of maintaining strong relationships with ink distributors and dealer networks in the Americas, especially after trade shows—a key relationship-building channel—came to a temporary halt during the COVID-19 pandemic. To bridge this gap, they aimed to develop a robust digital strategy that seamlessly connected in-person experiences with online interactions. Our strategy included their attendance at the ISA Orlando trade show, where we ran targeted ads and implemented a giveaway. Additionally, we created a Gurus of Marabu microsite, which has driven significant user growth and established Marabu NA’s thought leadership, as well as enhanced their newsletters and social media presence. Consequently, Marabu NA has seen substantial increases in social media engagement, clickthrough rates, and overall brand credibility, successfully extending their market connections through digital and social activations.
