Liger was founded in 2019 as a full-service marketing firm and was recently acquired as a Tarkenton Companies brand. Tarkenton empowers large enterprises and rapidly growing companies to create new revenue through strategic planning, essential marketing, and advanced technology.

Here Is What You'll Do

Our copywriter will craft messaging mainly for emails, web pages, and digital ads for clients in the health, insurance, tech, and financial industries.

As a Liger copywriter, you’ll:

  • Conduct background research on clients, target audiences, and product offerings.
  • Write compelling, clear, and error-free copy that reflects each client’s unique brand and voice.
  • Collaborate with creative departments to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials.
  • Interpret creative direction and technical information in order to write relatable, persuasive short-form copy that’s well organized and easy to understand.
  • Present copy to clients in an engaging way, and work with them to edit and modify copy to meet their expectations.

Are You The Right Fit?

  • 3+ years copywriting experience, B2B copywriting experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Ability to persuade and clearly inform, as well as connect with an audience
  • Understanding of marketing compliance regulations in the financial and insurance industries is a plus
  • Ability to write in AP style
  • Ability to work within project management apps, log time, and prioritize tasks
