Now more than ever, people are intentionally spending their money with Black-owned businesses. From restaurants to boutiques to beauty products, these businesses are thriving. The same should ring true when it comes to your product. There are dozens of Black-owned digital agencies across the country to look into who can offer unique and personalized services for you and your product.


Satori Interactive

Since 2004, Satori Interactive has been ‘making changes and taking names’ for their Fortune 100 clients. With offices in Atlanta, GA and Jacksonville, FL, this boutique Digital Experience Agency has been providing digital transformation solutions to clients of the likes of InterContinental Hotels Group, Lowes, MARTA, Edleman, and Equifax to name a few.  CEO, Fela Strickland-Smith has a background in strategy and user experience design. The name ‘satori’ means ‘enlightenment’, and that’s what this agency sets out to do- enlighten clients through digital solutions by “Making their Ideas A Reality”.

19th and Park

In New York City, 19th and Park refer to themselves as a ‘creative execution agency’ that has a lengthy client list from Apple to Nike to Home Depot. CEO Whitney Headen previously worked at top media companies like Viacom and iHeartMedia. A Vimeo channel showing the work of the company shows projects with AT&T, Essence, and Colgate. This company brings girl power to the forefront.

Burrell Communications Group

With locations in Chicago and Dallas, CreativeJuice

The Atlanta-based agency CreativeJuice has worked with MARTA, Habitat for Humanity and, Cox Entertainment, but also has partners scattered across the U.S. The website shows a variety of clients from start-ups to non-profit organizations. Founder Octavia Gilmore was a recipient of the Power30Under30 award and says her superpower is ‘the problem-solver’. CreativeJuice is a team of millennials ready to help find a juicy solution for your business.

EraBright

EraBright offers services in over a dozen locations across the nation, including Atlanta, Miami, New York, and Philadelphia. The website says the entire EraBright team is ‘passionate, dedicated digital marketing experts’ and works remotely, offering the best prices for partners. Founder Jamichael Mitchell has almost a decade of experience and writes that he left a high-ranking position at another digital marketing agency to launch EraBright. The company has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes, and VentureBeat for its work.

Foote Communications

Based in Dallas, Foote Communications offers public relations, multicultural marketing, and social media strategies to clients. Clients include the Tom Joyner Foundation, Denny’s Corporation, as well as the African American Museum of Dallas. Founder Neil Foote says the target audiences are entrepreneurs, corporations, and special events. In an email, he writes there’s a need for more Black digital agencies now because there’s “great opportunity for these agencies to help companies better reach diverse markets.”

Goldiata

Based in Baltimore, Goldiata Creative has offered marketing services to brands like Room Theory and Newport Natural Health. The leadership team includes Brian Taylor, Paul Bianco, and Clint Sistoso, and the team works to make sure all online marketing opportunities are explored. On the website, there is a way for you to download a report that tells you five ways to double sales in 90 days. Goldiata Creative offers free 30-minute strategy sessions, which the agency says would cost $1,000 otherwise. To get a jumpstart on your business strategy, this is the agency to tap into.

The Level 8 Agency

With locations in Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Tampa Bay, the Level 8 Agency prides itself on a ‘balanced approach to crafting your efficient and profitable business outreach vehicle’. According to the agency’s website, businesses like law firms, skincare products, and doctor’s offices have used Level 8 to develop their social media marketing and websites. Founder Bianca Goolsby’s design work has been featured in the Jacksonville Journal and the Huffington Post.

SRB Communications

Founded in Washington D.C., SRB Communications has the core values of excellence, passion, innovation, integrity, and diverse team. Founder, President, and CEO Sheila Brooks have received more than 200 entrepreneurial and journalism awards, according to her website bio. The most recent award is from the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ), a company that is also a client. Besides NABJ, other clients are the Maryland Department of Transportation and McCormick.

Team Epiphany

This New York City-based, Team Epiphany, was started in 2005 by Coltrane Curtis, who is also a managing partner. Dubbing themselves the ‘original influencer marketing agency,’ Team Epiphany has a diverse team of millennials working with worldwide brands like HBO, Google, the Brooklyn Nets, and Netflix just to name a few. The company also has an office in Los Angeles and is constantly looking for new ideas to develop.
